A couple of weeks ago I spent a cloudy Friday afternoon with Stephanie & Turner. When I asked Stephanie what would reflect the two of them.. She said the country, Turner’s truck & chocolate chip cookies. So.. she met me in a cow field in Turner’s truck & stepped out with a basket full of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. My husband would be shocked forever if I ever cooked him anything.. and so anyone who makes time to cook, also has my admiration!
Stephanie & Turner sittin’ in a cow field… first comes love…
Then comes cookies…
I told Turner I should get a picture of him in the pond next.. He was a little hesitant for that one.
With the fall colors & their clothes, they were begging for some leaf throwing
Sweetness
They’re getting married in March, so you won’t have to wait much longer to see more of these cuties..

First of all - Thank you everyone for the tremendous response to this new site. Culture Pilot did an amazing job, and I can’t thank them enough. They are Awesome!
As for Seema & Brian, I am super excited to be photographing their wedding in May. I LOVE being a part of multi cultural events because it just shows how much alike we all really are. They are having lots of traditional Indian events for their wedding.. I love it all, but I’m ready to jam out to the music. As most may know, my husband is Venezuelan and I am definitely loca for some salsa music. For some reason, Indian music is like salsa to me with a little tecno pop. Love it!!
Enough about me.. let’s get to the hotties
Brian graduated from UNC, and led me to this thing.. I’m not sure what it is, but I like it
Brian came ready to work it
They are just SMOKIN’!! I mean.. wow.. they’re a hot couple, right?!
This cracks me up.. Brian dipped her in a thorny bush & she still looks good!
They LOVE their doggies.. to the point of sweaters. So, we made a family shoot out of it!
Too cute. Too cute.. That’s all I got to say.
Thanks you two!! I am so sincerely excited to be a part of your wedding too!!

I met Jen years & years ago when I waited tables through college.. who knew I’d be in NYC photographing her engagement session one day?! She is getting married in Wilmington April 2009, so yeah… she’s a photographer’s dream. Her & Chris live in Ridgewood near NYC, so I got a taste of the good life for several days - trains, subways, taxis, etc. Everything is so fast.. and because of a time crunch & extensive travel time, this session was fast too. Probably my record - like an hour or something close to that. Nonetheless some yumminess happened. You can see more of their Ridgewood shots in my engagement gallery, but here are some of their city shots for now.
I have to start with Times Square
I think you get it…
Manhatten Central train station is so incredibly beautiful.. I was blown away by the immensity of it.
Despite the HUGE windows, it’s still darker than a bat cave to photograph.. Embrace the grain.
When I first got there, it was hard to keep myself from looking straight up. Those buildings are T-A-L-L
Why is rain so sexy?! So cold, and yet so steamy

I want to nibble on Dana & Brad because they are just sweet. They are getting married in June 09 and wanted to get some good ‘ol fishin’ shots to enjoy until then. When I met with them and explained how I photograph engagement sessions, Brad’s eyes lit up & he got super excited about going to Southport for some fishin’ shots. They immediately knew that the beach would best reflect their relationship.. I agree. It’s a simple & beautiful kind of thang!
Which normally I would be wondering how to incorporate some color in a beach session, but we lucked up with some awesome little spots! I mean.. what beach has lime green benches?! Southport.
My personal favorite…
Colorific
I asked them who won when they normally got in fights.. Does this image give you any idea who it may be??
Goin’ Fishin’
There are more fishin’ shots in my engagement gallery of these two.. just sayin’
A man that loves fishin’, also loves his truck

I love The Knot.. well, the Knotties. Along with several other wonderful ladies, I met Eleana because she found out about me on The Knot forums. She is so beautiful & we had a perfect afternoon to photograph her & Brian over at NC State. Eleana graduated from ECU and therefore loves ECU… to the point she is having deep purple as her wedding color. Brian graduated from NCSU (what’s up my brother!!), so the Pack needed to be represented in their engagement session.
Just so happens that Two Brothers on Hillsborough Street is their favorite restaurant.. GO PACK!!
I’m with you Brian
Would ECU ever have a tunnel of love?! I don’t think so…
The Fair!! YIPPEEEE!! I was so excited that they were willing to do some shots there!
There are more of these in my engagement gallery if ya’ wanna see…
